What is GCSE?

This is for students aged 14-16. GCSE is a one-year programme. By the end of the year there will be some exams after which the students will be awarded GCSE qualification. What is A-level?

This course is for students aged 16-18 or above. In some countries this course is equivalent to ‘pre-university’ course. Students are advised to take 3 subjects. Why England is the best choice?

English language is the most important language and England is the home of this language. Leaning English language obviously promotes the job opportunities imminently. Having A –levels helps you to study at any university in the UK. The higher grades you get in the chosen subjects, the better universities you can enter. It is better to do your GCSE in the UK to get familiar with UK educational system. Studying A-levels is significantly important for those who want to enter a prestigious university. Expenses

Living cost in total is approximately between £400 to £800 including housing, bills, food and transportation. Living cost in smaller cities is lower than bigger cities like London. However, studying in London has lots of benefits. The first and most important one is that it is more likely to have higher chance to find a job during and/or after your studies. The whole UK is very multinational with having London a few steps ahead of other places. Living in London means living in different countries at the same time, even yours. There are lots of different communities and culture and every day you learn a new one.

Right to work

Only some nationalities are allowed to work 10 hours per week only when they study A-levels. Most University students are allowed to work 20 hours per week. Minimum wage is £8.21 per hour (2019).
